Rieko Oka of Ten to Sen Moyou Seisakusho is based in Hokkaido and creates patterns based on natural landscapes and familiar plants.
Facing the overwhelming seasonal expressions of the northern land, she draws original drawings one by one, and then compiles them into patterns.
In order not to lose sight of the emotions she finds in her surroundings, she replaces "scenes" with "patterns."
